What if you’re the One holding you back?

What If You’re the One Holding You Back?

I know—it sounds almost laughable, right?

But what if the real reason you're not moving forward… is you?

What if all the wheel-spinning, false starts, and stuck moments aren’t because of outside forces—but because you’re afraid to move ahead?

Fear is sneaky. It’s a slimy, subtle tactic the enemy uses to stall your progress—not just in your earthly dreams, but in your heavenly destiny. Most of the time, we don’t even recognize it. We think we’re being wise, cautious, or protective.

We say things like,

“I’m staying humble.”

“I just don’t have the support.”

“My family doesn’t believe in my vision.”

Sound familiar?

Here’s the truth: the enemy doesn’t have to do much when we’re already blocking ourselves.

Fear. Excuses. Doubt.

They all stem from one core issue—belief.

If you don’t truly believe in you, then how will you ever walk in your full, God-given purpose? Your assignment on this earth is to shine—to be a light in the darkness—not to play small while others take the stage.

And no, I’m not saying you have to become a pastor or a public speaker. But you will never walk in your divine destiny if you don’t believe who God says you are.

You might be able to spot potential in your kids, your spouse, your friends…

But can you believe God's Word about you?

I get it. For years, I championed everyone else’s dreams. I encouraged them. I celebrated them.

But inside? I was crying.

I stayed in the wings while they took center stage—again and again.

That kind of pain can mask itself as humility. But false humility is just another disguise for fear.

It keeps us busy,  serving everyone else while ignoring our own blueprint.

We get tangled up in other people’s drama, distracted from our own destiny.

So here’s my challenge to you—the hardest, holiest work you’ll ever do:

Find you. Love you. Encourage you.

If this resonates with you and you’re sitting there thinking, “She’s reading my mail,”—I get it.

I’ve been there too.

Let’s connect. Maybe God is inviting you into a partnership that unlocks your heavenly blueprint
