Don’t Miss the Fruit



There are so many things I’ve prayed for—some for a moment, others for years. And then sometimes, out of nowhere, I see an answer come in minutes. 


I don’t have the magic formula for why some prayers take longer than others. But if I’m being honest, I suspect it often comes down to my own level of belief in what I’m praying for.


Today, as I reflect on the 8+ years since my mom passed, I’m overwhelmed by just how much has changed—how much has been restored.


The battles? Fierce.  

But God? Always faithful.


He’s given me trusted prayer partners and accountability voices—people who lovingly call me out so that God can call me higher.


But here’s the truth I felt today:  

I haven’t always paused long enough to savor the fruit of those prayers.


Most days, I get swept up in the next crisis, next prayer, next spiritual “assignment.”  

Survival mode still tries to whisper my name.


But living that way robs me of the joy—the satisfaction of realizing, God heard me. He answered.

And sometimes, we need to stop asking and start 

thanking.


It’s easy to keep praying for what we need, but God desires a relationship—one that includes praise, intimacy, and gratitude. Just like in any healthy relationship, there’s a give and take.


So today, take a moment to look around your life.  

What fruit are you overlooking?  

What prayers have already been answered?  

Even the smallest victories matter—because we serve a God who cares about every single detail


Don’t miss the fruit. Celebrate it. Praise Him for it.

And let that gratitude shift your spirit from survival mode to joy-filled surrender.

The Blueprint Begins

The Beginning I never would have imagined there was such a thing as a “Heaven blueprint.”   Growing up in survival mode—surrounded by chaos, confusion, and abuse—I didn’t even know what Heaven really was. Don’t get me wrong, I went to church with my grandma. And after my mom and dad divorced, my mom would toss us on the church bus whenever it rolled through our neighborhood—probably just to get a couple hours of peace (and now, after raising four kids myself, I totally get it).
